From Generation to Generation: The Story Behind Lewis Land & Cattle

Ever since I was a little boy, I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my Papaw and the generations before him. Farming isn’t just what our family does—it’s who we are. It has taught me that some of life’s greatest rewards come from hard work, patience, faith, and trusting God’s timing.

Today, I’m grateful to be raising my own family on the same land and values that shaped me. My wife, Miranda, and I are raising our children, Tatum and Rowan, to understand the importance of caring for the land, treating animals with respect, and taking pride in honest work. My hope is that they’ll grow up appreciating where their food comes from and, if they choose, continue this legacy for another generation.

When we started Lewis Land & Cattle, our goal was simple: provide families with high-quality, locally raised meat they could trust. As we’ve grown, we’ve been humbled to serve customers not only here in Kentucky but across the country through nationwide shipping. While our reach has expanded, our commitment has remained the same—to raise livestock the right way and treat every customer like family.
