Shipping Policy

At Lewis Land & Cattle, we take great care in packaging and shipping our products to ensure they arrive safely and in excellent condition. Please review our shipping policy before placing your order.

Shipping Days

To maintain product quality and help avoid weekend transit delays, orders are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays only.

Orders placed after our weekly shipping cutoff will ship the following Monday or Tuesday.

We do not ship orders Wednesday through Sunday.

Shipping Method

All orders are shipped via UPS Ground or UPS 2-Day Ground, depending on destination and transit requirements.

Perishable products are carefully packed in insulated packaging with ice packs and/or dry ice as appropriate for the season and shipping distance.

Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days prior to shipment. During periods of high order volume, holidays, or severe weather, processing times may be extended.

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information.

Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times vary depending on destination and UPS transit schedules. Estimated delivery dates provided at checkout are not guaranteed.

By shipping early in the week, we help reduce the likelihood of packages being delayed over the weekend.

Weather & Carrier Delays

Lewis Land & Cattle is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:

• Severe or unexpected weather
• Carrier service interruptions
• Natural disasters or circumstances outside our control

If a package is delayed but arrives cold, partially frozen, or safe for consumption according to USDA guidelines, it will not qualify for a refund.

If your package arrives thawed and unsafe for consumption, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label so we can assist.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses may not be eligible for a refund. Additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment.

Local Delivery

Local delivery is available in select areas, and delivery schedules may vary depending on location and route availability.

At this time, we do not offer on-farm pickup.

Shopify Orders

All orders placed through our website are securely processed via Shopify. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on order size, weight, and destination.
